Daryl Albertson (aka Herb), presents an hour of wholesome bluegrass tunes, concerts, interviews, and station recorded musical performances. After picking up the banjo he hasn’t but it down, learning Old-Timey tunes and developing his love of bluegrass and the music it inspires.     

Musical Genre

A range of Old Timey, Modern and Contempered Bluegrass Tunes from Australia to Kentucky USA and beyond. Herb also delves into Appalachian Folk Music, which formed the roots of the bluegrass music that followed.  

Final Comments from Herb 

As a child I would listen to evening radio with my father, having fond memories of early country music, bluegrass and traditional folk ballads.  At 2ARM I am very interested in interviewing and recording local musicians and those not so local, with the goal of bringing Australian talent to our local radio station for all to enjoy. 

As an Armidilian of 30+ years I find it very satisfying to live in a strong community of talented musicians.
